Tradition *SQUASH*

Every year on Christmas Eve we always go with my parents to see the beautifully decorated Christmas trees at the Met. So this year my sisters, the grandkids, and my mom (dad wasn't feeling to great) all met, at the Met Christmas Eve to see the beautiful trees...but all that we saw were a few damp trees out on the front lawn adorned with gawdy decorations and some really old bones inside. This is not the tradition I agreed to go see! Don't get me wrong, the Met is amazing since the remodel but there were no beautifully decorated trees, no amazing tea room that is always adorned in such beautiful Christmas decor for the luncheons held there, no gingerbread houses that would put mine to shame!
This was not our Christmas Eve tradition, *SQUASH*.
Probably the best part was playing in the science room where we could all touch and play. The kids really enjoyed it (and the adults were entertained a bit too). I guess we will have to see what next Christmas Eve will bring....
